At JBC we are constantly telling our clients that integration of all communications into one central hub (most likely your website) is key. It keeps your messaging consistent, allows for easy management of content, and gives your fans or followers a place to find more information than just the occasional post or tweet.
Today a new website created by St. James Palace in London was launched as the central hub for all things William and Kate. The new, relatively simple yet visually appealing site, officialroyalwedding2011.org, incorporates the royal family’s Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, and Youtube sites, as well as an ongoing news blog for those interested in the upcoming nuptials.
Here’s the statement released by the British Monarchy:
The simple website, set up through the Google Apps platform, is an inexpensive yet effective way of combining all of their social media sites into one location. It will be interesting to see how this website progresses and if they continue to post on a regular basis.
Now, where’s our invite?
